Vectors for expression of fusion proteins possessing a (His)6 tag or glutathione-S-transferase (GST) tag are commonly used for simple immunoaffinity purification of recombinant proteins produced in E. coli (e.g., by metal-chelate affinity chromatography). MoBiTec’s anti-His-Tag and anti-GST-Tag antibodies are very useful in monitoring (His)6 -Tag and GST-Tag fusion protein expression and purification and show a markedly increased sensitivity for (His)6 tags and GST tags compared with other commercially available anti-His-Tag or anti-GST-Tag antibodies.
