ACC-beta may be involved in the provision of malonyl-CoA or in the regulation of fatty acid oxidation, rather than fatty acid biosynthesis. Carries out three functions: biotin carboxyl carrier protein, biotin carboxylase and carboxyltransferase. Applications: Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Peptide ELISA: 1:16,000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 5ug/ml Requires HIER using sodium citrate buffer pH6.0 prior to staining. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
