Component of ribonuclease P, a protein complex that generates mature tRNA molecules by cleaving their 5-ends. Also a component of RNase MRP complex, which cleaves pre-rRNA sequences. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-140 from human POP7, fused to GST-Tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
