Produktbeschreibung

Inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits thereby driving them into their inactive GDP-bound form. Activity on G(o)-alpha is specifically enhanced by the RGS6/GNG5 dimer. May play a role in synaptic vesicle exocytosis. May play important role in the rapid regulation of neuronal excitability and the cellular responses to short-lived stimulations. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-487 from human RGS7, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
