NS0-derived, recombinant human Vascular Endothelial Cadherin (rhVE-Cadherin) extracellular domain.
VE-Cadherin, also known as Cadherin-5, is a type I membrane protein belonging to the cadherin superfamily of Ca2+-dependent adhesion molecules that mediates adhesion via homotypic interactions. It is associated with intercellular junctions and plays a role in endothelial cell survival during remodeling and maturation. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
