At the core of GeneTex’s SARS-CoV-2 portfolio is a broad selection of recombinant monoclonal antibodies against the spike and nucleocapsid proteins. These antibodies have been thoroughly validated for multiple applications using SARS-CoV-2-infected tissues and samples.
GeneTex’s antibodies against the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 exhibit high sensitivity and specificity. Antibodies against both the S1 and S2 subunits, as well as the S1 receptor-binding domain (RBD), are available. These reagents are ideal for numerous applications, including western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF), FACS, ELISA, sandwich ELISA (sELISA), and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Several GeneTex recombinant spike RBD antibodies demonstrate potent neutralization activity (clones HL1004, HL1003, HL1003-HU). Spike antibodies against the S2 subunit (clone 1A9), S1 subunit (clone HL6), and the S1 RBD (clone HL257) have been validated for IHC using virus-infected human lung and placenta tissues.

GeneTex offers the most comprehensive selection of nucleocapsid antibodies. This antibody product group contains recombinant monoclonal antibodies, standard monoclonal antibodies, and polyclonal antibodies generated in both rabbit and mouse. Many of these antibodies perform well in ELISA and sELISA, and GeneTex has developed a SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid sELISA kit with a sensitivity of ~18 pg/ml (GTX535824). Four recombinant rabbit monoclonal nucleocapsid antibodies have proven effective in lateral flow assay (LFA), while two (clones HL344, HL448) demonstrate remarkable sensitivity for IHC on infected tissue samples.
