For each antibody, MSVA provides a unique, highly informative product documentation, which makes it easy for users to “know their antibodies” to an extent that has never been seen before. The MSVA package includes:

  • Excellent antibodies, due to rigorous product development criteria: Only 130 of the first 3600 product candidates were selected for the MSVA portfolio.
  • Unique product documentation with immunohistochemical staining images for more than 50 different normal tissues and more than 20 tumor images per antibody on
  • Protocol suggestions for manual and automated immunohistochemical staining on Agilent / Dako – Autostainer, Leica – BOND RX and other common autostaining devices.
  • Published data describing the performance characteristics of MSVA antibodies in Immunohistochemistry are compiled on the MSVA homepage (if available).

Extensively validated, high quality antibodies are key to successful experiments. Optimal antibodies are particularly important for multiplex fluorescence immunohistochemistry, where a single cross-reactive antibody can spoil the results of an entire experiment.

Most MSVA antibodies are recombinant rabbit antibodies. Unlike traditional monoclonal antibodies, these are synthetically produced. Since recombinant antibodies are not generated by potentially unstable hybridoma cells, they are completely reproducible and their properties always remain constant.
