Betacellulin (BTC) is a member of the EGF family of growth factors that also includes EGF, TGF-alpha, Amphiregulin, HB-EGF, Epiregulin, Tomoregulin, Heregulin and Neuregulins. Mature human BTC protein exhibits 80% amino acidsimilarity with mouse BTC protein.
