KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within human Factor XIIIa. The exact sequence is proprietary.
Conjugation:
Unconjugated
Alternative Names:
F13A, Coagulation factor XIII A chain, Coagulation factor XIIIa, Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase A chain, Transglutaminase A chain
Factor XIIIA, or fibrin stabilizing factor, is activated by thrombin and Ca2+ to a protransglutaminase in the final step of the blood coagulation cascade that cross-links fibrin chains. This enzyme catalyzes the gamma-glutamyl-epsilon-lysine cross-linkin
The antibody was affinity-purified from mouse antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Form:
Mouse IgG2a. Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.2% BSA and 0.01% sodium azide.
Application Dilute:
IHC (1/100 - 1/300)
Application Notes:
Recognizes endogenous levels of Factor XIIIa protein.
