Thio-ITP (6-Thioinosine 5'-triphosphate) is an RNA polymerase activity competitive inhibitor. Thio-ITP has a high apparent affinity for the polymerases (RNA polymerase I Ki: 40.9 µM, RNA polymerase II Ki: 38.0 µM)[1].
