Squoxin (ST1859) is an antiamyloid agent that specifically binds to Abeta1-42 and prevents the aggregation and fibril formation of Abeta. Squoxin crosses the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and has anthelmintic activity and anti-inflammatory properties[1].
