Atopaxar (E5555, ER-172594-00) is a potent and orally-active inhibitor of Protease-activated receptor-1 (PAR-1). E5555 inhibited the binding of a high-affinity thrombin receptor-activating peptide ([(3)H]haTRAP) to PAR-1 with IC50 of 0.019µM.
